Christmas Day

I was on call from 10PM to 4AM, got 2 hrs of sleep then drove Sandy to the airport at 7:30AM to fly off to San Diego. I’m tired… and did I mention sick too.

Iron Chef

Every night is like an episode of Iron Chef. Tonight while Sandy was out at church, I had the task of making dinner. Of course I waited til the last minute. Luckily Sandy went shopping yesterday so it was a simple matter of throwing things together. Lamb was the secret ingredient. Unfortunately I didn’t know …

Sunset

I don’t really like being in front of the camera but tonights sunset left some very nice colors and I was home alone. So I took out my trusty G11 and set up a single off camera strobe with a shoot thru umbrella. Set the cam ISO for 400, TV 1/15th of a second.

Sunday Stuffings

This morning everyone went to church (except Geo) as Sandy was reading. Later Tita Nellie dropped by for breakfast. We served a Smoked Salmon Frittata, Banana Nut Muffins & Fruit. We then drove to Concord as Aleki wanted to visit the UFC Gym. This was followed by some serious shopping that left us tired and …

Big Gulp Saturday

Today after the physically fit performed a workout. We shuttled off to India Palace for a Indian Food Buffet, it was so good! Later I did my best to prepare a hunk of Venison for dinner. On a side note I was told that Geo would get quite upset if anyone touched his shoes (He …

In the City

Tonight we ferried in to the city and took Geo to NikeTown. He did his best to conceal his excitement for purchasing his new shoes. Later we went to Angel Fish for an always excellent sushi dinner. Poor Sandy, she’s surrounded by Manly Men. It’s been nothing but drinking, eating and farting.

Klamath Falls

Had a bit of business in Klamath Falls Oregon. It started out great, there was a little Peruvian Band to entertain us at the airport. Unfortunately it was about 17° F when I arrived in Klamath Falls. Work was smooth, and I found a great Hawaiian restaurant. The North Shore Restaurant. The Kalua Pork was …

Damn SPAM & Flying Burd

Last night, we decided that we would eat breakfast at home instead of going out since as Sandy put it, “We have some SPAM that’s been in the cupboard for some time.” As I was preparing breakfast this morning I happen to glance at the bottom of the can… If I fail to update my …
