Saw a baby house sparrow. It was pretty fearless and allowed me to get pretty close.
Lagoon tension
Quite a bit of action this morning. The young ducky was alone all morning. It has learned early on the diving technique when under attack from the night herons. I expect this will happen when you see all your siblings get swallowed whole.
Bag Burd
Minnie Pearl has developed this unhealthy obsession with paper bags. She’ll enter these bags many times a day. She’ll scream and bites her way through it. We can’t seem to agree on what type of behavior this is. Sandy thinks she is looking for a nest. I think she is exorcising the bad cheeseburger spirits …
