Maverick

Had to travel to Reno and there are a limited number of flights, so I decided to drive. I stopped over to see Jimi & Amy… okay I wanted to meet Maverick. Oh Jimi made an outstanding 4 course dinner, whatever. Maverick! They also have 3 fat kats. It’ll take 4 washings to get rid …

MLK Day

We both had the day off so after a nice breakfast of duck hash & eggs, we drove to the local shopping center to do some errands. We sat in the car listening to the MLK I Have a Dream speech. It was quite inspirational. For Christmas, Sandy gave me a gift certificate for a number …

Famoso

As the boys are leaving tomorrow morning Aleki wanted to have a famoso burrito before he left. We went to our usual La Penca Azul. Aleki did finish that burrito, it was about the size of my arm.

Through the eyes of Alex

As I mentioned before I was going to steal photos from my BIL Alex. I chose just a small quantity, although some have nothing to do with our trip to SD.

SD Christmas

We flew into San Diego on Christmas morning for a short family visit. As usual Rhea forced me to drink too much, and I had a lot of fun (they go hand in hand). Therefore I didn’t take any photos. I will borrow Alex’s G10 when he gets up here and post his photos. I …

Christmas Eve 2010

I think it’s been 3 years since celebrated Christmas at the Nakamatsu’s. Jimi made an incredible Italian dinner which I forgot to photograph. The braised pork in milk was excellent. Of course the gag gift session was very Italian and Tami & Chris had a very special announcement.

On the road again..

Yesterday I had to go to Modesto then on to Porterville. So of course I had to stop by one of my favorite places Bravo Farms in Traver. The food is okay but I go for the animals.
