Northern California Ukulele Festival 2011
I haven’t been to a N. Cal Uke Fest in years. Saw a lot of familiar faces & reconnected with some old friends. I was turned away at the door as I was carrying my camera (no cameras allowed). Needless to say I didn’t take any pix.
Orchids
This morning was so nice I decided to photograph the orchids. I’m sure the ones I got from my Father will never look this good again. Oh and Ben supervised.
Zen
We had date tonight at Zen here in downtown Alameda. The Kakuni Pork Belly was to die for.
Google TV
Today I received a Sony NSZ-GT1 in the mail. This is a BD-DVD player with internet capability. It hooks up to the internet via cable or WiFi. For years I had a Mini ITX PC under my TV which I never got going… now it’s obsolete. I’ll subscribe to Netflix and download movies right to my TV.
iPad2 Cam
The new iPad has 2 cameras… I think something is wrong with mine.

Picked it up via Fed Exp today. We’ll see if the hype is true. Rhea bought my iPad 1 & it is on its way.
Dragon Rouge
Yesterday we had brunch at the Dragon Rouge here in Alameda.
Back to Honolulu
Had 24 hours in Honolulu to fix a problem. Needless to say I didn’t have time to do anything but eat a couple of meals and sleep.
