Sundial Bridge revisited

Had a trip to Redding so I decided to try and photograph the Sundial Bridge again.

Stitched Panorama

BTW as I was driving home from Redding I saw the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. It was heading north as I was going south and there wasn’t enough time to get my camera. I see so much interesting stuff while I’m driving. I’m gonna look into a car camera mount to capture this crazy stuff.

Koa’s Thanksgiving 2009

This year we went to Auntie Amy’s for the 1st annual Umami Thanksgiving celebration. As usual there way too much food and everything was delicious… I mean Umami. Thanks to Auntie & Cait for all the hard work. For the evening’s entertainment Koa had everyone’s attention with her Halloween Pig Costume.

This is was also a great chance to test out Dido’s new camera. Unfortunately I paired it up with my 270EX which doesn’t have an auto focus assist light. So in low light the XS couldn’t focus at all and my eyes are so bad I couldn’t tell until I looked at the photos on my monitor at home.

24 hrs in LA

We flew down to LA to see my folks yesterday. We also stayed at a nice Courtyard (thanks Rhea) that had a jacuzzi. Unfortunately we had to catch a 6AM flt in order to get back in time for work today.

We also got a hold of some old photos.

The photo on the left is my Ma’s school class (she’s 1st row 4th from the left) and the other photo has my father on the far right.

Chandler Arizona

We had a quick run to AZ for a wedding (more on that later). We landed, got our car and checked into our hotel. Then we searched for a lunch spot. We ended up at Famous Dave’s BBQ. Sandy had the Smoked Salmon Salad and I had the BBQ Buddies. We had to finish it off with a small serving of their award winning bread pudding.

We flew back home the following day so we were only in AZ for about 24 hrs. We did manage to stay at a great Marriott (thanks Rhea).
