I don’t always get it right as sometimes I catch them in these awkward positions or angles.

I watched a interesting episode of Nova and they made a compelling argument for eating insects, mainly good gut bacteria. On the environmental side they make a much smaller footprint. Therefore I decided to give it a try by starting easy… ground crickets in a smoothie. Sandy said if I start chirping at night she will pull the plug on this 💩.
Woke up too late so I ran out to the abandoned Raiders HQ and aimed my camera through the fence.
While grilling some burd I heard a woodpecker smacking a tree. I ran and grabbed my camera.
Worked in Monterey again so I checked out the famous lone cypress tree.
Work brought me to Monterey so I visited Kissing Rock.
The hummingburds are very territorial and are constantly chasing each other away from the feeder. Today we witnessed an unusual sight… a truce.
Drove out to the San Leandro Marina. My backpack felt a little light as I left home. It was when I arrived that I realized I left my camera on my desk, doh. Good thing I had my backup camera.
