Decided to shoot a sunrise at the bay bridge this morning.
Karina invited us to one of her performances. I didn’t know what to expect and found myself “machine gunning” my M6 (417 photos). I did manage to grabbed a quick portrait of her in between shows.
Got lazy this year and just photographed them taking off here from Alameda. I find it amazing that a large group of people including me, would clog up the streets for 3 seconds of action.
Went down to LA to visit Mom. Here is some random stuff.
After a very long day in Santa Cruz I decided to run down to shoot a sunset.
For Arlene’s Birthday we took her to Limewood Bar & Restaurant. The duck hash was incredible.
Work brought me to Monterey, so I decided to check out Pacific Grove and put my new M6 into action, even if the sky didn’t cooperate.
Okay I couldn’t stand it, I had to do a sky replacement just on a couple of em.
We made rezzies at Safari West a number of months ago with the idea that this would be our Anniversary outing. The lack of availability meant we had to wait til September.
On the way up we took a detour to Willi’s Wine Bar for lunch. It was well worth it.
We stayed in a great tent that was quite comfortable. Of note the animals are quite loud at night and the early morning. On the photography front, the fencing/cages were my nemesis. Therefore I didn’t shoot some of the creatures.
Upgraded my M5 to a M6 mark II, out with the old…
