I been trying to photograph what I thought was a woody woodpecker. Now I found out it is a female Belted Kingfisher. I could not get a shot of her diving for a fish. I had to throw in an Egret photo.

Blind Duckies
August is a bit late in the year for new duckies. This is the 1st time we had yellow ducklings. Sadly we think two are blind as they are putting out a distressed call and just swimming in circles.
Country Time
I had work in Marysville and ended up spending the night in Yuba City. I wasn’t prepared for the roosters & chickens at the hotel. Oh and no alarm clock needed.
