Today we got a glimpse at the first ducky family of 2019. Unfortunately they were all eaten within 24hrs which is common for new mother’s. Update: I was mistaken as of last weekend (5/5) there are 4 adolescent ducks. Once they get out of that bite size stage they are usually safe.

Looking for love
It’s that time of the year again, mating season. That means we’re seeing ducks in all the wrong places.
Hummer with a compact
We were to out gardening and Humphrey the hummer came by for meal. I just happen to have my RX100VI in my pocket… ok I ran in the house to get it. Upon inspection I see that it is misfocused, but a nice moment nonetheless.

Praying Mantis
Captured while at work & brought em over for a photoshoot. This proved to be quite difficult as he was pretty active. I had to ditch the tripod, but all this moving around created sll sorts of motion blur.
Livermore Deer
Went back to Livermore and while there were bunches and bunches of Turkeys, what caught my eye was the Deer… in the parking lot.
