Humming Bird Action
Did my best to capture this hummer buzzing around in the early evening. Shot @ ISO 2000 & 12,800 so needless to say it was noisy. Thankfully Topaz DeNoise to the rescue.
Take your Tern Sony A9II
I got hold a very used Sony A9II and had to try it out today. The lighting conditions were horrible but I couldn’t resist the diving terns.
Bumble Bee
I watched a bumble bee crawl across the patio and pass away. So I shot it, but after editing the photo I realize I should have done a focus stack.

Mothra
I was alerted to a very large Humming Bird Moth during happy hour, so I snapped a quick photo with my phone. I then brought it home and was able to properly photograph it, but in my old age I got lazy and didn’t do a focus stack.
Blues before sunrise

Worked very hard this afternoon to get my ducks in a row.
Ugly Duckling
A lone ducky survived the onslaught of predators. It’s at that ugly stage now, somewhere in between juvenile & adulthood.
Duck Drama
After lunch we were talking about the ducks when Mom decided she wanted to see. We spent the next 1/2 hour watching the drama unfold as a lone vulnerable duckling was wandering around the lagoon. It eventually got reunited with Momma but the 3 families were territorial and there was plenty of violence. Even the …
