Burdbrain Saturday
Today we saw a lot of burd activity. We also have a boarder….Minnie Pearl.
Ducky rejection
This morning we witnessed a lone duckling getting its butt kicked for trying to blend in with the new family. We believe that its mother was being chased & harassed so it wandered off on its own.
Blueberry Looting
Our blueberry bush is full of berries and with all the covid grocery store restrictions it brings out the worst in all us, which means only one thing… looting. I hope they get diarrhea. Crow looter Squirrel looter Robin looter Opossum looter Sandy harvested them to prevent more looting
Tarsier Monkey
A tarsier monkey photo from a 2006 Philippine vacation popped up during my screensaver so I thought I would revisit it and found a couple more.
Macro in place
I’m going a bit stir crazy here and haven’t shot a thing, so I was happy to find some subjects in the backyard.
Pesky neighbor
It happens every year. New burds find the window and can’t stop tapping on it. I could not get a good shot, it moves way to fast.
Mating season
It’s that time of the year again… ducks in all the wrong places.
Kingfisher video
The Kingfisher proved to be to timid for me to get close enough to photograph. Therefore I had to resort to installing an Arlo Pro camera near it’s favorite spot.
Belted Kingfisher
I been trying to photograph what I thought was a woody woodpecker. Now I found out it is a female Belted Kingfisher. I could not get a shot of her diving for a fish. I had to throw in an Egret photo.
