K&F Concept

I received a new K&F filter. What makes this one different is that is has both circular polarizer & variable neutral density elements. The skies have been so boring lately, but today finally we got some clouds.

Keira’s Mulan

I’m not sure how Halloween will play out this year, but I wanted to do something nice for our neighbor Keira. This was especially true when I heard that she likes Mulan, so we did a photoshoot. It’s been so long since I did a shoot, I was a bit off my game. That only …

Burdsday

Today by some stroke of luck the burd photography gods granted me the opportunity to shoot that ever so shy female kingfisher in the backyard that I’ve been chasing forever. Also later in the day, what I believe was a hairy woodpecker right in front of Paul & Brenda’s.

Baby Baby

Saw a baby house sparrow. It was pretty fearless and allowed me to get pretty close.

Lagoon tension

Quite a bit of action this morning. The young ducky was alone all morning. It has learned early on the diving technique when under attack from the night herons. I expect this will happen when you see all your siblings get swallowed whole.
