I had plans of photographing the lunar eclipse but I only managed to make it to 11:17.
I mistakenly called this Oracle, it’s now Ring Central Coliseum. Anyway I went there to photograph the fireworks after the Oakland As game. The last time I did this was 2014.
The early morning lightning storm woke me up at 4:17. I ran out to the shore in the hopes of capturing something. Sadly these lightning strikes caused a number of fires all over northern California. I did a B&W composite
This year I will be outta town for Halloween so I had to shoot the boys Black Panther & Iron Man outfits ahead of Halloween.
Tonight I hit the Bay Bridge again to get a different perspective. Unfortunately I got distracted by that Racoony that kept sneaking up behind me.
I realize that I never photographed the new section of the Bay Bridge.
Sandy was out with friends so I decided to shoot a few in San Francisco.
There was a thunderstorm so I ran outside to the backyard. I setup my lightning trigger & thought I would catch some great stuff… but the trigger was to slow! So I reverted to my old ways and set the camera for a 25 sec exposure and keep my thumb on the shutter release.
This evening I visited the Palace of Fine Arts. I saw several photoshoots while I was there and was quite shocked to see most of the photographers were not using strobes.
I had to spend some time training at the home office 30 minutes south of Miami. Luckily I was in the same class as my co-worker buddy Jhonathan. Training was quite demanding so we didn’t go out much other than to eat dinner in the local area. Friday night Jhonathan did give me some exposure …
