I finally got over my illness so to celebrate I prepared a brisket for dinner. This process started 6:30 in the morning.

I trimmed off about 5lbs of fat, but kept it whole as an experiment. I may regret that decision later. Of course it started to rain and I felt like a bonehead for trying to do this on a day like this.

After the feeding frenzy there wasn’t much left. I pretended to be shocked and angered but I was truly flattered. For dessert Sandy made an incredible Tiramisu. Additional photos by Aleki, Macy & Freda.
