We took advantage of an opportunity to visit London for a long weekend with Sandy’s former coworkers. We arrived late afternoon and after a short break we met up with the girls for some fish and chips at Moor & Hitch.
We got the full London weather experience the following day, gloomy & wet. At one point we were in the middle of the Extinction Rebellion.
We had lovely greek dinner at Aphrodite Taverna.
Bath is the largest city in the county of Somerset, England, known for its Roman-built baths.
My focus for this whole trip was photographing Stonehenge. With the poor weather on Saturday I was not expecting much, but much to my joy the photographic sun god came through. I must be doing something right.
Hampton Court turned into a self running express photo tour as we got there just before closing. We all ran in separate directions to gather images.
Our final dinner at Dishoom in Kensington was incredible but too dark to photograph. The lamb shank Biryani was outstanding.
Our final day took us to a great breakfast place at Egg Break in the Notting Hill neighborhood.
Dang, 2019 was a good travel year!!
