Rebuilding the Bridge

Finally had some time to work on that Bay Bridge Pano. I removed the stupid power cable that went all the way across and took a chainsaw to those trees. I need to revisit that location on a nice clear day.

Obscured View

On my way home today I took an exploratory drive on Treasure Island. I wish I would have brought a chainsaw!

Economic Gut Stimulation

In an effort to stimulate the local economy, I believe we should eat out more often. So this morning we ate a huge breakfast at Bips. Since I ate so much, I think I’ll buy a pair of stretch pants at the local department store.

Osha II

We had another Fridate and once again we ate at Osha. Let’s see we had the angel wings, dressed prawns, tuna stacked tartare. The volcano beef was incredible and let’s not forget the lychee martini. Since we’re back on standard time it creates a bit of a challenge for my G10. It’s low light performance …

Mondate

Today both Sandy and I had business in Sacramento. The timing was great so we met on a lunch date at Caffé Italia in Davis. Sandy had soup and salad. I had the chicken and bacon ranch pizza. We didn’t really eat that desert, I just ordered it so I could photograph it for the …

They are filled with precious goodies from the US to bring back home to friends and family.  Courier services will deliver Balikbayan …

Weekend Pass

Ah, it was a quick visit for Mommie. Today we had a leisurely Pilipino breakfast of fried eggs, rice and smoked Trout. After some last minute shopping to fill her Balikbayan Box (more on this later) we had dinner at Il Fornaio in Burlingame. Then it was off to the SFO to bid her goodbye.

Pacific Grove

Had a little work in Monterey today. Afterwards I made a quick drive out to Pacific Grove… I think I’ll have to bring Sandy next time. Perhaps a weekend date?
