I just spent 4 hrs today trying to get a photo of the female Humpback Whale circling in the Alameda lagoon. She would surface every few mins but only show her upper fin. It was quite the circus atmosphere. I got distracted and shot all sorts of other things.

Everyone was hungry this evening. The baby hummingbird was squawking (loudly) waiting to be fed & the egret was having sashimi.

Work took me down south, so I stopped by Shark Fin Cove again.
Damn Terns
Over the years I’ve spent an enormous amount of time trying to photograph the diving terns. I can never seem to get a shot I like, as they fly so fast. Even the phoebe stopped feeding to watch the terns.
Lazy Sunset Photographer
After our dinner date I stopped by the ferry terminal to shoot the sunset. I was too lazy to find a location & I wasn’t the only one out there shooting photos.
