I see this small scale ship every time I drive on I80W. I thought with all the smoke in the air the sunset should be good. I later learned was created as a tribute to all that died in the Ghost Ship fire.

SF Night Shoot
Sandy was out with friends so I decided to shoot a few in San Francisco.
Glass Beach
Had work up north and I didn’t want to stay in the hotel, so I drove out to Fort Bragg. After dinner at the North Coast Brewery I checked out Glass Beach. As it usually happens to me the skies were gray & gloomy.
Stormy
There was a thunderstorm so I ran outside to the backyard. I setup my lightning trigger & thought I would catch some great stuff… but the trigger was to slow! So I reverted to my old ways and set the camera for a 25 sec exposure and keep my thumb on the shutter release.

17 years and still going strong
Saturday was our 17th Wedding Anniversary. Unfortunately Sandy was just flying in from Manila so we waited til Sunday for a little lunch celebration at Coqueta.
