I was able to get together with family last Friday for a little holiday lunch. I haven’t seen Jon in what seem like 2o years! I chose Bocanova as I’ve walked by a few times and always wanted to try ’em. The food was excellent as was the company. I have to bring Sandy there.

Pilipino Portraits
After a huge Thanksgiving meal I asked for a portrait sitting and this is what I got.
Canon EOS M arrives
The Canon EOS M was a long time in coming. I have such a problem with the weight of my big cameras. It’s been back ordered since July & I’ve been chomping at the bit for this one. I’m hoping that I can use this as a mini portrait machine. It’ll take all my Canon …
Alicia & Daniel’s Birthdaze
Yesterday we were invited to Daniel & Alicia’s Birthday at John’s Incredible Pizza in Roseville. It was a sensory overload. I can understand why all the kids were so excited. Later we went to Lincoln Estates Park for some portraits. I learned a lot as I usually do on every one of these shoots. I …

Our schedules were not in sync for Halloween so I asked the Yuens to bring Noah out tonight to the local beach. I figured that would be the perfect place to capture a photo of the famed Alameda Baby Teal Octopus. In keeping up with the sea theme they bought me dinner at Angel Fish, …
Tjader II
Tjader bought us a nice sushi lunch. (He tried to use a Discover card, no one takes that anymore.) So I thought I’d repay him by shooting some portraits.
Tita Susan
We were invited to celebrate Tita Susan’s birthday last night at Mana in San Mateo. I haven’t seen her in such a long time.
Lindsay
I found out via Cait’s posting on Facebook that Lindsay’s choreography was featured at a Santa Clara University dance recital. Well I couldn’t make the Saturday performance so I opted to show up at the dress rehearsal to see if could grab a few shots. The lighting was difficult to say the least.
Born 1912
Last Sunday we celebrated Grandma’s 100 birthday at the Japanese Cultural Center in Honolulu. I don’t remember the last time we all got together. I hope it’s not the last.
Noah Shoot
It’s been too long since we last saw Tami & Chris, let alone Mr. Noah. I thought now would be a good time to shoot ’em. I chose a seaside setting. The mornings have been cloudy lately but I lucked out today.
