Noah’s 1st Thanksgiving

Fun with the family, as usual. Enough food to feed an army, as usual. The worst part of the evening? While I was carving the burd Noah got his 1st taste of turkey… he absolutely hated it, spit it out in dramatic fashion. I would have loved to have captured that moment.

The newest family member

I’d like to introduce Alicia Maria Kinney, just 2 weeks old. We drove up to Folsom to photograph her. Sandy asked me if this was gonna be a complex setup with lights & sandbags. Luckily yesterday I received my new 4 square softbox in the mail. My friend Jim turned me on to this great …

Jen’s Bday

Today we celebrated Jennifer’s birthday at Ed’s Teriyaki. I had the teriyaki cheesesteak, I know that sounds strange but it was actually pretty darn good. Of course Noah was getting all the attention.

Lazy Saturday

Today we met Aunty Amy, Cait, Chris, Tami & Noah at the Blue Dot Cafe & Coffee Bar for a late breakfast. Then we brought Aunty Amy to the local farmers market and we walked away with a carnivorous orchid which I have yet to ID. While photographing the orchid, I happened to look down …

Honolulu Oct 2011

Semi annual maintenance is what brought me to the islands this time. Or maybe it was the ramen. For whatever reason lately I’ve been on this ramen kick and my photos reflect this trend. I finally got my free cup of coffee from the Honolulu Coffee Company, it only took 2 years to accomplish this. …

Lake Tahoe 2011

We finally went up to Lake Tahoe after putting it off for so many months. Other than the beauty of the area we wanted to visit Jimi & Amy (Maverick too). Unfortunately for us Amy was down in the bay area and Jimi’s availability was limited, so we made the best of the Tahoe scene …

Sunday Football

We paid Tami, Noah, Auntie Amy & Cait a visit to watch the football game. Not. I have no idea who won or who was even playing. All I know is we got to eat RT pizzas & play with Noah & Koa.

Ramen Quest #4

Today I met Jon for lunch. We ate at Santouka in the Mitsuwa Shopping Center. Funny we both got the #4 salt ramen.

Way back when…

My Cuz Hester got hold of some old family photos and this 1 caught my eye. That’s my Father middle right. The resemblance is scary.
