SD Christmas
We flew into San Diego on Christmas morning for a short family visit. As usual Rhea forced me to drink too much, and I had a lot of fun (they go hand in hand). Therefore I didn’t take any photos. I will borrow Alex’s G10 when he gets up here and post his photos. I …
Christmas Eve 2010
I think it’s been 3 years since celebrated Christmas at the Nakamatsu’s. Jimi made an incredible Italian dinner which I forgot to photograph. The braised pork in milk was excellent. Of course the gag gift session was very Italian and Tami & Chris had a very special announcement.
Sushi Wushi
Since both Alex & Aleki are here now, we decided to do a sushi dinner at Angel Fish tonight.
Koa’s Thanksgiving 2010
If it isn’t obvious, I love Koa. I chased her around all night trying to get a good photo of her…oh yeah we got together with family and ate some food too, whatever. Actually it was good to see everyone even though I didn’t get photos of all of them. The food was excellent as …
Chuck E. Cheese
I’ve never been to Chuck E. Cheese before. As it was Daniel’s Birthday Party I thought I’d give it a try. I have to admit it was fun. Sandy challenged me to game of basketball and sadly I lost. My manhood will never recover.
Happy Birthday Jen
In order to properly celebrate Jen’s Birthday we met at Little Sheep Hot Pot in San Mateo. Later we surprised her at Peet’s with a birthday cake. Imagine Jon & myself lighting the candles on the dark sidewalk in a light drizzle/wind & walking it in to the coffee shop, hoping the box wouldn’t catch …
Jon In San Mateo
This Friday turned into a date night as we had tickets to see Jon play at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center. Of course we had to eat before the show, Patio Filipino to the rescue. Chicharon Bulaklak, Lengua Champignon, Sizzling Pork Sisig & Bulalo Soup. While consuming pigs head, intestines & beef tongue doesn’t …
Rome 1975
I wish I had this photo before we went to Rome. I could have duplicated it.
Pasta Throwdown
Inspired by the Ikedas, Sandy decided it was time to cook our black ink pasta we purchased from Italy. She challenged me to a black pasta throwdown. We had to acquire our ingredients from the same local store and the dishes had to be ready by 6:00. Challenger 1: Pilipino Pasta Lover – Sandy Barin-Goya. …
