Bonjourno, today our Italian adventure begins. We’ve been talking about this for months and I can’t sit still. I packed all sorts of camera gear and 2 shirts… We’ll fly out of SFO, stop over in Washington DC and then on to Rome. I’ll try to update the blog daily but I don’t know what …

Labor Day 2010
This year’s Labor Day celebration was a little tough as I was out sick the entire week before. We tried to keep it simple as we are preparing to go to Italy soon. Thanks to everyone for pitching in and helping. Also thanks to Jen for using my camera to grab a few shots. To …
10 years later…
Today we celebrated 10 years together. A decade of love & affection (Def Leppard ref). 6:15 rezzies at Pappo in Alameda.
Annibirthery II
Tonight we celebrate our 2nd annual Annibirthery. August is the month for Rick & Jon’s birthdays, as well as wedding anniversaries for the Kung’s, Yuen’s & the Goya’s. This year we met at the Crouching Tiger in Redwood City.
Max’s
Today we met for lunch at Max’s in Milpitas. After a 45 minute wait, we dined on Lumpia fresh and fried, Fried Chicken, Pancit, Sisig & laing. I got so excited I forgot to photograph everything. We’ll be eating leftovers for dinner.

We ordered chopsuey, tribu fried chicken, pork sisig, binagoongan fried rice, bululo soup and finished up with ube ice cream & frozen brazo. This was followed by a quick trip …
Birthday 2010
Today I honored Sandy’s birthday by going to LaPinata for brunch. The birthday gurl had corned beef hash (at a Mexican restaurant?) and a Mexican hot chocolate, I had the chorizo burrito. I’ve been belching it up all day.
Memorial Weekend
Last Friday we had the services for my father at the Green Hills Memorial Park in Palos Verdes. It was so nice to see family and friends that I haven’t seen in oh so long. If there is one good thing that comes from my father’s passing, it is reconnecting with them … unless they …
