Last Supper
Last night Mommie & Daddy left for the Philippines. I figured this would be a good test for the Mark II. These are shot at ISO 6400 with a 50mm f1.4 lens. We had our last dinner at the Firewood Grill at SFO International Terminal. I had the Italian Sausage Panini, oh so messy. Mommie wants …
A Lovely Lunch
Since it was such a nice day we took Mommie & Daddy to Sam’s Chowder House in Half Moon Bay for lunch. I had the Maine Lobster Roll, excellent. BTW these are the very first photos from my new camera although I forgot to set it to shoot RAW, doh!
Yankee Pier
Had a nice lunch with Jon today at Yankee Pier in Santana Row. I had the Scallop Risotto special, very yummy! Jon had some boring salad.
50th Part II
Six months after Mommie & Daddy’s Golden Wedding Anniversary party (I) in the Philippines, Auntie Puring hosted another party (II) in San Diego coinciding with the actual wedding date, December 27. I got sick so I wasn’t planning on going but it was an important party so I couldn’t miss it. It was great to …
Dinner at Kincaid’s
We met Tita Flor, Ate Anna & Steve for dinner tonight at Kincaid’s in Jack London Square. Sandy had the Duck Confit & I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese, delicious!

Weekend Pass
Ah, it was a quick visit for Mommie. Today we had a leisurely Pilipino breakfast of fried eggs, rice and smoked Trout. After some last minute shopping to fill her Balikbayan Box (more on this later) we had dinner at Il Fornaio in Burlingame. Then it was off to the SFO to bid her goodbye.
Mommie is here
Sandy just picked up Mommie from SFO and true to form we have our priorities straight… we got take out from Popeye’s.
Dean Lesher
I found out that Jon was playing in Walnut Creek on the night before the show and he was nice enough to get us tickets. For the opening act, a pair of ex-Cirque du Soleil handstand acrobats performed as the orchestra played. It was quite impressive. Of course it goes without saying, it’s hard to outdo Jon.
