It’s not easy for me to set foot in a church feeling the way I do about religion, but I made an exception to watch the baptism of Aidan Wy Bordador. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take any photos during the ceremony, just a group shot afterwards.

San Francisco – Palace – Cliff – Steak – Scotch
Bengie arrived from San Diego this morning. We went directly to Jim’s at the Golf Course for a big breakfast and then headed out to the City. We went to the Palace of Fine Arts to spend some time sightseeing. We didn’t plan on the wedding, but we couldn’t pull ourselves away. After a long …

Back to School
Last night we ventured back to high school… for a performance by Jon at Hogan High in Vallejo. It was a wonderful concert. The orchestra sounded great. Jon invited us to his dressing room which was actually a classroom. So while waiting for the show to end we had some foto-fun.
Labor Day
This year’s Labor Day picnic was held at Vasona Park. We engaged in large quantities of food, competitive badminton and napping. Unfortunately I hardly shot any pix.
Billboard
Jon’s new CD is #4 according to Billboard. Its been on the top ten chart for 12 weeks and peaked at #3. Come on everyone let’s buy some more CDs!
Last night in Hotel California
Freda arrived in SFO today fresh from her trip to visit Alex in Korea. Upon arrival, she demanded to be taken to Goldilocks… I think she had to stock up on munchies. Thanks for the gifts of Korean tea, Spam, pottery and the shirt. Sadly, everyone is leaving for South Carolina tomorrow. We’ll miss them …
UC Berkeley
Since Tawny is out here college shopping, we asked Tami give us a personal tour of the UC Berkeley campus. I had no idea of the size of the campus. I was so tired from walking we had to eat at Raleighs.
LeCheval
WooHoo! LeCheval tonight for dinner. We finally got to use that gift certificate, thanks Tom & Peneli. The food was excellent as usual. Tawny even tried the snake juice!
After dinner run
After a big caldereta dinner, Tawny went for a run around the island while Sandy & Alex struggled to keep up on bikes. I laid on the couch.
Aloha
We got tired of Freda so we sent her off to Korea, then we partied at the Aloha Festival in the Presidio. We consumed large portions of Kalua Pork, BBQ Chicken, Lau Lau and Spam Musubi. Later we drove out to Fort Point at the Golden Gate Bridge.
