Jelly Belly
Sandy met up with Tita Susan, Suzette & the boys. She delivered some very thoughtful goodies… Uh I haven’t had the guts to try the skunk spray. I think that needs to be followed by a shot of tomato juice.
Ikeda’s
Today we headed down to the Ikedas’ for a small get together. As usual there was way too much food. By the way, Baker liked my manly scent.
Nihonmachi
Today we picked up Tawny and drove to Japantown to checkout Nihonmachi. We ate like pigs and of course I had to buy some more mochi!
Asena II
Took Arlene to Asena last night. We had a great time, the food was very tasty. Arlene had the eggplant, Sandy had the scallion fettuccine and grilled prawns and I had the prawn ravioli.

Last night we met Kathy at Enssaro in Oakland for our 1st Ethiopian dinner. We didn’t have a clue so we let Kathy do all the ordering. The food was wonderful as the Harar Beer was too. It was fun eating with our hands. Although I was a bit puzzled by the mousse cake desert …

Asena
Tonight we met Uncle Russell and Aunty Sachi for dinner at Asena here in downtown Alameda. Let’s see pear martini, endive salad, gnocchi, panna cotta & liquored up coffee.
Arlene
Met Arlene for lunch today at Old Port Lobster Shack in Redwood City. The lobster rolls were great.
Mary Ann @ Kalesa
Mary Ann (Bunny) wuz in town so we met her at Kalesa in Milpitas for lunch. Now we just ate at Gerry’s on Friday so it’s been a Filipino food marathon. I have acquired a taste for pork sisig and refuse to go to a Filipino restaurant that doesn’t serve it.
