Livermore
Tonight we visited downtown Livermore to see Jon play at the newly constructed Bankhead Theater. Needless to say the Jon’s performance was incredible. Afterwards we drove around for miles looking for a place that was open for a dinner at 11:45. We finally ended up at an Applebee’s. I had the three mini bacon cheeseburgers …
Back to School
Last night we ventured back to high school… for a performance by Jon at Hogan High in Vallejo. It was a wonderful concert. The orchestra sounded great. Jon invited us to his dressing room which was actually a classroom. So while waiting for the show to end we had some foto-fun.
Billboard
Jon’s new CD is #4 according to Billboard. Its been on the top ten chart for 12 weeks and peaked at #3. Come on everyone let’s buy some more CDs!
Idaho 2007
This year’s short vacation was in Idaho, home of Famous Potatoes. We planned this to coincide with the chamber music series at the Sun Valley Lodge in which Jon was playing. We rarely get to see Jon so we decided to tag along. We flew into Boise and drove 2½ hours to Sun Valley. Now …
Billboard doesn’t lie
According to Billboard, Jon’s new CD is now #8. Those 5 CDs I bought at the flea market must have paid off… funny they were in a Kenny Rogers case.

Now I don’t mean for this to become a Jon… uh whatz his name website, but damn I’m proud of him, #13 this week. I look forward to our trip midsummer, hopefully I’ll get the chance to photograph him performing. I’ve been trying for years and this is the best I’ve got, which is pretty bad.

Holy Pancit #5
Last week Mommy dropped off a Filipino Songbook. There are 1164 pages and she asked me to memorize them by her next visit! Ricky, Sil I’m gonna need some help!
