I was excited to present Jon & Kathy with their new wedding albums I made from our photos. I think they liked ’em.

Barin Reunion 2009
Yesterday we flew down to San Diego to attend the Barin Family Reunion. The dinner party was held at Hilton Hotel Mission Valley. Can’t say I knew many of the folks but it’s an excuse to get dressed up and drink scotch. I was expecting a low key boring party, I was happily mistaken. These folks …
Homeward bound
I made it through those long 12 hour work days in the muggy heat. As usual I didn’t have the energy to go out and about. I did manage to get a Kala Thinbody Tenor at the hotel thanks to a vendor, sorry Hun. No BJ Penn Shirts in Blk M Aleki, sorry. Here’s some …
Paradise bound
I know it sounds glamorous but Honolulu is a lot work in a short period of time. It’s hot, humid, full of tourists, everything is expensive and all the hospitals are located on military installations, which is a pain to gain entry. Oh and the food, nothing to eat but fresh fish, smooth Kona coffee …
Bowzer’s Pizza
It was too hot to do anything today. Not wanting to heat up the kitchen we had lunch at Bowzer’s Pizza here in Alameda. The Underdog was great.
Sonoma Last Day

Sonoma Day Two
Today was a slow relaxing day. Sandy slept in then we enjoyed our free breakfast at the hotel. Next we took a drive up Hwy 12 to Santa Rosa stopping off at St Francis and then Ledson Winery where we had a nice lunch. With full bellies we continued our drive and ended up in …
Sonoma Day One
We drove up to Sonoma and checked in at the El Pueblo Inn. After a short nap we strolled the downtown area. For dinner, we ate at LaSalette. We started out with an appetizer plate of smoked duck, blood sausage & Spanish ham. For entrees, the birthday gurl had paella and I had flank steak.
Golden Gate
Had some work in Marin so I poked around the northern part of the Golden Gate Bridge today. Of course it was around the noon hour…terrible time to shoot photos.
Mum’s Day 2009
This year we didn’t have the advantage of having my cousin Jimi the professional chef, so we all had to step up and create a dish for our Mum’s Day 6 course brunch. After all the eating, it turned into a dog day afternoon with all the attention on Koa & Coyote Baker.
