PJ’s Oysterbed
After being down all week with the mean flu, it was great to be able to go out and see some family. Jen was nice enough to organize a birthday get together for me. Asked where I wanted to go, I thought of PJ’s Oysterbed. The 1st and last time I was there was the night I met Sandy …
Memorial
I’ve seen the Memorial a number of times driving by the Lafayette BART Station. Thought I’d stop today and take a couple of pix.
Sunol Water Temple
I’ve driven by a few times but today I decided to stop and shoot a pano. The Sunol Water Temple just south of Hwy 84 between 680 & 880.
LDS Oakland
I’ve seen the temple from a distance at night from many different angles. I’ve always wanted to drive up there and photograph it. Well today is that day and/or evening.
Room with a view
It was bound to happen, that empty lot behind us is getting developed. Lucky for us the developer is working with the Association so I’m hoping for the best. They’re talking about a small cafĂ© by the Ferry Terminal, that would be cool. Regardless our bay view will be changing this time next year.
Found another one
With the advent of my new stitching software, I went digging for some more panos. I found one from our Philippine trip in 2006.
Skates
Today I got together with my coworkers for an early dinner meeting at Skates. This rarely happens… in fact, it’s the 1st time. There are only three of us in Northern California. Dinner was great as usual. Of course I had to run off and shoot a panorama of the Berkeley Pier.
Havana
Since I stayed indoors all day, we decided to go out for dinner and try that new Cuban restaurant in town, Havana. Entrees were skipped in favor of tapas. We had the Twice Fried Plantains, Halibut Ceviche, Mixed Grill and Crab Cakes. Everything was excellent! Did I forget to mention the Mojitos.
Panoramic Heaven
I spent all day in front of my computer. I finally got some time to try out a new piece of Panoramic Stitching software. Autopano Pro works so well I went back to all those hard to stitch shots and created 38 panos. Woo Hoo!
