Time for our annual trip to June Lake with the Harrigans. We did the traditional early Saturday morning Mono Lake shoot. A failed attempt at getting to the columns of Crowley Lake (high clearance 4WD needed). A nice boat ride on Gull Lake courtesy of Stinky. We stopped in for a drink at the Tiger …

Teddy, Christine & Connor
We haven’t seen our good friends in such a long time. We met at Limon in Burlingame, the Pulpo & Lengua was outstanding and the company… uh did I mention the food was good.
Drive by shooting
Driving home from work today just north of Cloverdale. I should have taken my time and whipped out my tripod, meh next time.
Sunflowers
Had to work on Saturday and saw these sunflowers just outside of Vacaville on the way up, so I had to pull over to shoot em. Shooting into the sun meant I couldn’t see my screen so I just blindly pointed the camera and held the shutter down.
Osprey II
Back up to Lakeport for work, so I reshot the Osprey family. I think they were nervous as they took flight as soon as I got close.
Osprey
After leaving the hospital in Lakeport, I saw what I can only describe as an Osprey pallet. The mid-day lighting was horrible.
Burd Bonanza
I don’t know why but there were so many birds out in the lagoon this morning. Perhaps the fishing was good, as every burd was fighting for the best spot.
Hardman’s
I think it’s been 5 years since I last saw my good friends Barry & Kathy. We dined at Coqueta and as usual I was so involved in the conversation I didn’t take any photos.
Barin Reunion 2019
Sandy’s family is great with regard to reunions. This year it was hosted in San Diego at the Kona Kai Resort & Spa. We could only attend the evening dinner.
As the World Terns
It’s been said that the best camera you have is the one that is in your hands. I had my tiny compact Sony RX100VI that shoots stills at 24 fps.
