Last night we met Kathy at Enssaro in Oakland for our 1st Ethiopian dinner. We didn’t have a clue so we let Kathy do all the ordering. The food was wonderful as the Harar Beer was too. It was fun eating with our hands. Although I was a bit puzzled by the mousse cake desert …

Mary Ann @ Kalesa
Mary Ann (Bunny) wuz in town so we met her at Kalesa in Milpitas for lunch. Now we just ate at Gerry’s on Friday so it’s been a Filipino food marathon. I have acquired a taste for pork sisig and refuse to go to a Filipino restaurant that doesn’t serve it.

Blue Berry

Mochi

Toe Fu In Festation
Today we went into Japan Town in San Francisco to check out the Tofu Festival. Later we went to Sapporo-Ya for a Ramen lunch.
Egret Eyeland
I don’t recall for as long as we lived here, a whole flock (20 or so) of Egrets nesting in one of the trees on the island. It was difficult to get a good angle as they were so high.
