Had to go to Phoenix today for quickie. I’ve always admired the wide southern view of the bay from terminal 3. Of course the 3D going to 2d… it doesn’t look all that impressive on the blog.

Weekend in Paradise
I had an emergency job in Honolulu. On top of that I to do it over the weekend and I couldn’t bring Sandy. I did manage to get some shots of the local kids having a good time at the beach. Before heading out to the airport I made a quick trip out to Hanauma …
The Gate
One of my all time favorite shots of Sandy is, “The Gate”. While we were back in the Philippines we tried our best to recreate it.
Canon SD800

Under the Beach Weather
Since I’m under the weather (I caught Daddy’s cold) I decided to stay home and rest while everyone else went on a day trip to the Anvaya Cove Beach Resort. That was a mistake. Following are photos from Sandy’s SD800.
Protest
On July 28, the President gave a State of the Nation Address before the Congress. Needless to say there was a protest.
Wine Depot
Tonight we met some of Sandy’s former coworkers at the Wine Depot. It’s a small wine shop with an even smaller restaurant in the back. Dinner was excellent! I had bacon wrapped lamb chop.
Makati Shangri-la
I was so impressed with the Shangri-la, I asked to stay there on our next visit to the Philippines.
