I’ve been wanting to make Pizza for the longest time. So I made one for dinner (Americas Test Kitchen recipe) and one for happy hour. It was supposed to be fermented in the frig for 12-24 hours, but I didn’t have the patience.
Woke up early and decided to check out the sunrise. The low level clouds kept it from being spectacular, but the high level clouds made it interesting.
It was foggy this morning on my way to Marysville.
I think it’s been 10 years since we’ve seen each other, so today I met Bunny and her kids (Olivia & Ian) at Ramen Nagi.
Tonight was Tawny’s turn with Leo. Of course everyone’s gotta jump in the frame.
I finally got to shoot a portrait of Drew & Leo. While dialing in my exposure Stinky was a stand in for Leo.
I purchased a few socks for the gurlz to wear for a photoshoot. I let them decide which animal to model.
I finally got over my illness so to celebrate I prepared a brisket for dinner. This process started 6:30 in the morning.
I trimmed off about 5lbs of fat, but kept it whole as an experiment. I may regret that decision later. Of course it started to rain and I felt like a bonehead for trying to do this on a day like this.
After the feeding frenzy there wasn’t much left. I pretended to be shocked and angered but I was truly flattered. For dessert Sandy made an incredible Tiramisu. Additional photos by Aleki, Macy & Freda.
As fate would have it there was no lengua to be found, so we shifted to a meatless taco Tuesday. Sadly we all forgot to take any photos.
While we wait on the rest of the family to arrive. Sandy made her vongole and I made a cheesy foccacia. Of course I forgot to take photos.
