Last night we had the pleasure of seeing Jake Shimabukuro live at the Davies Symphony Hall. I picked up Sandy and we had a quick bite at Stelline. I had the cannelloni & Sandy had the chicken.
Davies is a stunning hall which made the concert experience even more thrilling. I can’t say enough about the Jake’s talent and the skill that he possesses. I was in awe of him. Luckily, the audience brought him out for an encore which, believe it or not, was Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Who would imagine hearing the piece played on an ukulele? He seems to be getting better and better each time we see him.
He was also gracious enough to brave the huge line (½ hr wait) to sign CD’s and say hello to his fans.
