Spent three hours in a salon yesterday…three staff fussed over me, offering iced tea, coffee or little sandwiches while they worked on my hair. I haven’t decided whether to like it or to feel guilty over it. Ready to see my transformation? Here are photos before, during and after…

Pilipino Day #1

Got an email from Sandy…

Hi hun,

So far so good. Everyone met me at the airport, including Pinky who jumped between departure and arrival terminals just to see me before flying out to Hong Kong. I’m being overfed. Breakfast #2 was longganisa, eggs, rice, tamales. Daddy made me a special coffee blend of half brewed coffee enhanced by half instant UCC coffee.

After breakfast together, everyone headed off to work. I visited with the dogs for a while. They all wanted forever rubs. Fred is healing from a sprain, but otherwise looked good and was well behaved. His head remains too big for his body. Barni has new tricks, including bringing small paper (like peso bills) to his Lolo Dido. Princess howls when you forget to give her attention.

Hung out with Brina & Brian, but by  3pm, I could no longer keep my eyes open so I had to take a nap. Dad came home at 4:00 with coffee to go from UCC. Then we had dinner at Dencio’s which Dad claims is a much better restaurant than the one that deteriorated after 4 years. It was much like Gerry’s Grill. We had krispy lechon, krispy sisig, grilled tuna belly and bagoong-based pinakbet.

Will be heading to bed soon. I’m constantly thinking about you.

I love you.

Errand Fryday

Today was a slow work day, so I decided to make the best of it and ran some errands. Along with getting my bloodwork done. I ate breakfast at Marti’s, went to the post office, ate lunch at Quiznos, got my oil changed & tires rotated.

While waiting 3 hours for my car I decided to walk around the Marina Village and take some photos. Can you guess what time that was?
