The life and times of a true knucklehead – No photos to be used without permission
Today after the girls came back from church, we ventured into downtown Alameda for a terrific brunch at Ćera Una Volta. Then we strolled the local shops on Park Street until it was showtime at the newly renovated Alameda Theater. We enjoyed Iron Man but I got a stomach ache from all the popcorn.
Our weekend with our lovely niece was over as Tawny left for the Philippines tonight.
Tawny is visiting with us on her way to the Philippines for a vacation. Today, we decided to go to the DeYoung Museum for some art and culture. Afterwards we slurped down some ramen.

I got tired of my ukuleles laying all over the floor so I decided to hang em. I think it looks nice.
I filled up in East Palo Alto today.
Since I had my camera from last night’s party, I decided to take some photos at Stanford where I worked today.
Last night, we were invited to a celebration for my Auntie Sachi at the Olympic Club in San Francisco. After 36 years as a school teacher, she has decided to retire. I got to see a side of my auntie I have never seen before… her professional persona. It was amazing to witness the outpouring of admiration and love. I have to admit I was brought to tears a few times. Congratulations, Auntie!
We decided to stay at the Prescott Hotel right across the street from the club which made it so much easier Friday morning.
While waiting for the train the other day, Sandy was approached by a stranger who asked if she could take Sandy’s photo to post in a Blog about reading books.
