Last night we had the pleasure of seeing Jon perform at the California Theatre… but 1st we had a wonderful Portuguese dinner at Petiscos.
My friend & co-worker Joao will be on a National Guard deployment from May to Oct so we had a little work BBQ.
I took Tom to Alley & Vine for a Whiskey tasting event.
I was told there are turtles in our lagoon, I always thought, “Yeah I’ll believe it when I see it.” I guess I believe it now.
We haven’t celebrated Easter in a couple of years (last one via Zoom), so it was nice to see everyone at Matt & Cait’s. I’m gonna start a go fund me to fix Cheech’s under bite.
Got a second shot at shooting Jenna at Stanford. I took 800 photos and whittled em down to 77. I’ll post the rest on a google photo album.
I spent too much time photographing this night heron hunting down a tiny fish. In the end it was so small, it hardly seemed like it was worth it. That would be similar to me spending half and hour to cook one piece of bacon.
Lately the hummers (3 I think) have been consuming their liquid diet just as fast as we can fill it. In those moments when we are “too slow” to meet their demands they can be seen going to natural means. I just happened to be at the right place when this occurred and this whole sequence took about 30 seconds.
We decided on a brunch with the Harrigans today. It was also an opportunity to cash in the Christmas gift card from the Lee’s. Thank you Tom & Marika.
I’ve recently been on a rum run. Until recently my favorite Don Papa was only available in the Philippines. To my surprise I found it locally, although not the Masskara. I will pop the cork on the Kasama tonight.
