The life and times of a true knucklehead – No photos to be used without permission
I visited the monarch trail while in the area with the idea of photographing the butterflies. Unfortunately February is the end of the season and there were only a few.
Jon-Michael introduced me to this new place. Black squid ink ramen, so good.
He also introduced me to Uncle Tetsu cheesecakes.
Sad news, my friend Koa passed away recently. We dropped by 3 weeks ago and she was as sweet as ever. That was the last time we saw her.
Sandy gave me a membership to the SF Zoo for Christmas, so we finally made the trip out.
I shoot whatever is in my backyard and lately that has been the Hummingburds.
I don’t always get it right as sometimes I catch them in these awkward positions or angles.
I eventually get something though.
Humphrey allowed me to get close enough to shoot this.
I watched a interesting episode of Nova and they made a compelling argument for eating insects, mainly good gut bacteria. On the environmental side they make a much smaller footprint. Therefore I decided to give it a try by starting easy… ground crickets in a smoothie. Sandy said if I start chirping at night she will pull the plug on this 💩.
Woke up too late so I ran out to the abandoned Raiders HQ and aimed my camera through the fence.
While grilling some burd I heard a woodpecker smacking a tree. I ran and grabbed my camera.
