The life and times of a true knucklehead – No photos to be used without permission
Stopped by Davenport Beach after work in Santa Cruz.
The death of my oldest brother brings us together again. I stated this has to change after my Father’s death (2010), sadly it didn’t. The only time we get together is for funerals.
Carie was a tremendous help as always. We had a visit from Brad but I forgot to get a photo of us together (kicking myself), so I asked him send a few with some recent catches. Cheryl and Daniel brought us torpedoes which brought me back to my childhood. Bethany also dropped by and forced us to eat vegan. I thought she was gonna make Mom do yoga next. Thanks for the flowers & lunch Rhea.
We stayed with Hester & Don. Just before we left Hester brought out some old photos so Sandy made some copies.
I tried a recipe from my friend Bunny.
Made an attempt to shoot a sunrise at Sandy’s church. Had to use my camera mounted on a 10ft paint pole to get the higher perspective.
Waited til the last minute before running out to shoot this scene. That night heron remained still for this 13 second exposure.
After work in Santa Cruz I hit this place. Disclaimer, I did a sky replacement in Luminar AI.
This morning Sandy wanted to visit Holy Sepulchre in preparation for Holy Week. So while she prayed I took some photos in the cemetery.
Checked this place out after work in Santa Cruz.
Keira & Dom brought over a late birthday gift along with some mini cakes. They are so sweet… uh the kids & the cakes too.
Potato, creme fraiche, green onion, masago & lumpfish caviar appetizer. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
