With various leftovers in the frig I made what we call Basura Ramen.
Tonight Sandy seared some scallops for me. So lucky I am.
Jamaican brown stew chicken, a bit spicy for us but we enjoyed it so much.
Today by some stroke of luck the burd photography gods granted me the opportunity to shoot that ever so shy female kingfisher in the backyard that I’ve been chasing forever. Also later in the day, what I believe was a hairy woodpecker right in front of Paul & Brenda’s.
Leftover grilled pompano & pork belly turned into street tacos. To much youtube caused me to make loco moco.
Perhaps its from being cooped up at home day after day but I started to plant some seeds from a leftover potato, avocado & papaya. We’ll see what becomes of it. Maybe I should get some farm livestock too. A weed eating goat that hates papaya would be cool.
Our neighbor Paul gave us some smoked salmon, so today Sandy made some pasta to accompany it.
I tried a new recipe for crispy pork belly. Unfortunately I overcooked the piggy as it was a bit tough. We gave that one to Chris & Tami, we kept the good one. The celery root & red cabbage was a great pairing.
Koa was really excited to see us… she got in trouble for that little incident.
Sandy talked me into a evening stroll along the shore tonight.
Sandy alerted me to the sun as she went for her nightly walk.
