I invested into the EOS-M system as soon as it came out (November 2012). The 1st M suffered from poor focusing performance and from that point it was doomed. The M3 was better and now the M5 promises to be much better. The idea of ditching my big ol heavy DSLR and using the M5 mirrorless for sports or portraiture would make me so happy.

So nice to see everyone but I hate the idea of only getting together for funerals.

I’ve been waiting for months and my new camera has finally arrived. Of course I’ve been out sick and it’s killing me to be stuck at home. Anyone interested in buying my M3?

My 5D mk III weights 2.09 lbs and the M5 weights .83 lb. That’s a big difference.
As usual we didn’t make a Christmas card this year so after what seemed like 80 shots we finally have a ecard.

I got a lot of reactions from this composite on FB.

As tradition dictates we celebrated Thanksgiving at Aunty Amy’s house.

Everytime I go to Livermore I usual see some wildlife. Today it was a Turkey Jerky.

This year Nico celebrated his 3rd birthday at Tilden Park Steam Train.

Later we went to Fenton’s for lunch.

This year I photographed the Veterans Memorial at the Mare Island Cemetery. Sadly these occasions are visited by so few.
