Today was a momentous event as Noah turned 1 year old. We all met at the Hukilau in San Jose to celebrate the occasion.
As I shoot events I’ve grown tired of the flash atop the camera look. While in San Diego I shot exclusively with an off-camera Photoflex softbox via pocket wizard mounted to a monopod. While everyone laughed at the sight of Sandy shadowing me in what they called a “pole”, the results were very pleasing to me. Oddly everyone wanted to hold the pole!
Today while driving home I noticed it was pretty windy. That means it’s time to go to the beach to shoot the windsurfer dudes.
How our niece can go from this… on Saturday.
To this on Sunday is amazing. She is incredible.
Last weekend we converged in San Diego for Aunty Puring & Uncle Pax’s 5oth Wedding Anniversary. The party was held at the L’auberge Del Mar.
Ok I’m posting this not by choice but because Sandy insists…
Another 24 hrs on the Island of Oahu. Saw nothing but the hotel, hospital, airport and a couple of meals.
Teddy & Christine (Mojito Gurl) invited us to the San Jose Taco Festival. We didn’t even get to sample all the taco trucks before we got stuffed.
Today we got to spend some time by Bem & Brina and during a lull in the evenings activities I shot my beautiful niece Brina.
