Just arrived today!
Took it out this afternoon for a quick test but I forgot that I have to calibrate the focus with each individual lens, so the results are not so sharp.

I can’t remember where I saw this, but it was a recipe for bread pudding using Krispy Kreme donuts! I just modified a bread pud recipe. It turned out a bit too sweet, I suppose it was because of the sugar in the donuts. I’ll keep trying.
I didn’t cook a single meal while Sandy was gone. So tonight I broke out of my rut and made Sandy a asparagus & mushroom risotto.
The DR just recently moved to a new location so we thought it was a good time to revisit it.
A day after Sandy came home, Beng was in transition from Manila to San Diego and had a layover in SFO so we picked him up and went out for dinner at Patio Filipino.
Bunny was in town for the CMAT in Berkeley so of course I insisted she sneak away so we could have lunch. Skates was close by so we enjoyed a quiet brunch. She had the Eggs Benedict Florentine & I had the Grilled Mahi Mahi. This was followed up by a small, small piece of bread pudding.
It arrived Thurs the 7th via UPS. My 1st impressions?
Things I like: Low light performance – Image quality – Hot shoe – Remote release.
Things I don’t like: Min focusing distance 7.9″ (1.2″ with my S100) – Itz a bit chunky, but much smaller than a full size DSLR – Manual lens cap – No GPS .
Met up with Jim & Kelly for dinner at Pican. The meal was of course incredible. I loved my sorghum lacquered duck.
Time for my annual maintenance Hawaii trip. I got to stay 2 days this time. Of course I had to have Ramen at Menchanko-Tei. New dessert find Frost City it’s a cross between shave ice & ice cream. Even the local chickens like to check out the Pali Lookout. Had a wonderful dinner with Roy at Sansei Sushi.
