My Father had a huge orchid collection and while we got few the majority died from neglect after his passing. This Schomburkia Tibicinis was one of the survivors. Forgive the horrible iPhone photo.

Quite awhile back cuz Chris turned me on to this Ukrainian golden vodka, and many years later. I found it, but it was only available in Florida and they do not ship. My friend Joao who has a vacation home in Florida spent quite abit of time tracking down the last bottle. Now I need a special occasion to pop it open.

Today we were had Marvis and family over from Utah for an Italian cookout. We made pizza, burrata salad and tira misu. Of course I forgot to take photos.

Thanks to April, Majory, Marvis, Victor & Sandy for the photos.
We don’t get to attached to the duckling as most don’t live very long. This Hen got 3 to survive.

Sunsets have been poor lately, so when I saw some mid level clouds I ran out to the shore. Of course I’ve shot this scene hundreds of times.

I rarely get to shoot anything these days so I was happy when my coworker Jon pointed out a enormous ant in the middle of the hospital lab. So I had to bring it home and shoot it.

The ducklings are being picked off one by one.

Sandy asked for some portraits since Mommi & Ysa are visiting, so I whipped out my ZV-1. I’m not sure why the thumbnail images are so “green”, if you click on the image they are fine.

There was a flurry of feathery activity the past 2 afternoons. New ducklings, bug catching phoebe and squirrel hating crow.

I took a gamble and only brought my Sony ZV-1, RX100 VII and a 100W strobe to a family wedding in Escondido. The snapshots I can always use my phone, but portraits I have to use a strobe. Sadly I didn’t take enough photos. Unfortunately Aubrie & Jaxon were so busy I never got a photo of them. I’d be a great wedding photographer.
