As the World Terns

It’s been said that the best camera you have is the one that is in your hands. I had my tiny compact Sony RX100VI that shoots stills at 24 fps.

Sandy’s BDay 2019

For Sandy’s birthday this year I made rezzies at Skool. The uni flan was a stand out, so good.

Whale’s Tale

I just spent 4 hrs today trying to get a photo of the female Humpback Whale circling in the Alameda lagoon. She would surface every few mins but only show her upper fin. It was quite the circus atmosphere. I got distracted and shot all sorts of other things.

Ugly Ducklings

Blondie’s ducklings are at that awkward stage, in between fluff & feathers.

Spidey

Spent about 20 mins trying to shoot this guy on the BBQ cover. Reminds me of a king crab.

Hangry

Everyone was hungry this evening. The baby hummingbird was squawking (loudly) waiting to be fed & the egret was having sashimi.

Shark Fin Cove II

Work took me down south, so I stopped by Shark Fin Cove again.

Damn Terns

Over the years I’ve spent an enormous amount of time trying to photograph the diving terns. I can never seem to get a shot I like, as they fly so fast. Even the phoebe stopped feeding to watch the terns.
