Balmy Alley

We did a quick trip into the city to check out Balmy Alley for a future photoshoot. Of course it was feeding time so we stepped into The Local Mission Eatery I had the Smoked Salmon Hash and Sandy dined on the Squash Benedict I believe.

Zeni

As a late Birthday celebration for Sandy we met Kathy & the Kung’s at Zeni for an Ethiopian lunch. This was followed by a quick trip to Pinkberry. Later we sat a while at Kathy’s while I tormented Fredi.

Harpo Harrigan

Tonight our neighbors Paul & Brenda invited us over for dinner. After an incredible halibut meal, I decided to shoot Brenda with her harp.

Baby Hummer

Sandy quietly called me to the upstairs window to view what she called a baby hummingbird. I said no way it’s an adult… 2 seconds later the mother flies over to feed it. These are shot through a dirty window so the quality reflects this.

Nancy & Aaron

May 5th we helped our friend Teddy shoot his cousin Nancy wedding in San Francisco. I wasn’t restricted by flying so I utilized a paint pole which extends much higher than my monopod. Here’s a very small sample of images from the wedding.

Wayfare Tavern

As a pre-birthday celebration for Sandy I made reservations at the Wayfare Tavern a Tyler Florence Restaurant in San Francisco. We ferried in and had an amazing dinner.

Isabella

Wanting to shoot more portraits, we took Isabella out this morning for a short session by an arched door that I’ve had my eye on for quite a while.

Off the Grid Alameda

Today was an excellent day as we were lucky enough to have an off the grid event here in Alameda. The lines were hellish and it took quite a while to get my Pork Belly Sandwich after I ordered it, but it was really tasty.
