During my annual PBS pledge drive I happen to receive a gift certificate for Elizabeth Spencer Wines. Well today we decided to redeem it and what better couple to take with us than Paul & Brenda. We walked out of there with a nice cab and then shuttled over to Long Meadow Ranch for lunch.
6963 mile Lengua Throwdown
When I taste something good, I try to recreate it while adding my own touch. Mommi’s lengua is one of those dishes. Now while Mommi was not here we thawed a portion from the freezer. I topped mine with 3 types of mushrooms. In fairness I should wait til her next visit for the actual throwdown.
