Veterans Day 2025
I choose to lay low this year. I did do some sunrise photography which I rarely do these days. We then went to Sausalito for lunch.

We met Trish and family for a belated Birthday lunch.
25th Anniversary
Today we took the day off and celebrated our 25th. We ferried into San Francisco and had lunch at the Waterbar. After such a nice time we decided to go the DMV to spend the rest of the day.
Schomburkia Tibicinis
My Father had a huge orchid collection and while we got few the majority died from neglect after his passing. This Schomburkia Tibicinis was one of the survivors. Forgive the horrible iPhone photo.
Marvis & Familia
Today we were had Marvis and family over from Utah for an Italian cookout. We made pizza, burrata salad and tira misu. Of course I forgot to take photos. Thanks to April, Majory, Marvis, Victor & Sandy for the photos.

Sony ZV-1
I bought a used Sony ZV-1 (introduced 2020) about a year ago and have never touched it. While mainly manufactured for video I see it for a potential pocket portrait camera with it’s hot shoe. At max zoom of 70mm it’s f2.8, but will it produce a nice background blur? I doubt it.
