Just downloaded a free version of GRFX Studio. I used it to replace the boring sky in the Shark Fin Cove photo below. Yes, this can be done in Photoshop, but this software just makes it easier. I liked the result so much I had it printed 20×30.

Natural Bridges State Park
After work in Santa Cruz I ran over to Natural Bridges State Park to shoot a few.
Easter 2019
This year we stuffed ourselves at the Oyar’s. Lighting conditions for the Easter egg hunt were challenging.
Oh Deer
Had a call in Livermore today and as usual there is the always present wildlife. Sandy thinks she’s pregnant.
1st Family
Today we got a glimpse at the first ducky family of 2019. Unfortunately they were all eaten within 24hrs which is common for new mother’s. Update: I was mistaken as of last weekend (5/5) there are 4 adolescent ducks. Once they get out of that bite size stage they are usually safe.
Pulgas Water Temple
The clouds this week have been incredible so on my way home I stopped by the Pulgas Water Temple to shoot a few…
Looking for love
It’s that time of the year again, mating season. That means we’re seeing ducks in all the wrong places.
Pescadero II
We took an impromptu trip out to Pescadero Beach again.
Rock City
I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve never been to Mount Diablo State Park. So we took a quick drive to Rock City and can’t wait to go back to explore the area further (see Sandy in the background of the panorama).
Birthday 2019
This year Sandy made reservations at the Trailblazer Tavern for my birthday. It was definitely upscale Hawaiian food. We can’t wait to go back.
