The life and times of a true knucklehead – No photos to be used without permission
Today I shot some photos while driving to Modesto without even looking, just to see what I’d get. As you can imagine most of the 58 were junk.
Worked in Walnut Creek today. This is the view from the parking garage, 6th floor.
I met Sandy and her coworker Teddy for dinner tonight at our beloved Angel Fish.
I swear I didn’t mean it. I was working in Stockton and happened to notice there was a Jollibee right across the street. I had lunch there but made the mistake of telling Sandy I ate there without her.
In addition to Judy’s mandatory showers in the backyard on weekends, she’ll ask for an indoor bath every now and again.
As soon as the SD980IS was announced by Canon, I ordered one (and a 7D & G11, shhh). This new model has a touchscreen. The battery is charging right now so we’ll do some testing tomorrow.
For all you out there with cameras, you can’t hold on to them too long or they’ll devalue in a year or two. The SD880IS is going on the auction block.
That’s the new cam on the right.
Now that I’m home I’ve had the chance to stitch the pano I took while in paradise.
Sandy & Kathy went to do some girly girly shopping while I did some manly blogging action. We did get to meet for lunch at Bowsers Pizza and followed that up with a “small” gelato from TuttiMelon.
Someone from the office forgot I was in Honolulu and called me at 5:35AM. Since I was up, I thought I would treat myself to breakfast at the hotel restaurant… $16.00 for pancakes! Forget that, I went back to Honolulu Coffee Company and got a chocolate croissant and a cup of coffee. 3 more stamps until I get a free cup.
Today’s goal besides making my flight home is to find my grandparents’ grave site (Goya & Maeda). Last night Christy warned me the headstones are written in Kanji (Japanese), doh! I don’t have high hopes.
I’d also like to go to Koaloha Ukulele if time permits.
Update: I made my flight but could not locate the grave sites. They were written in english but I just ran out of time and needless to say I didn’t make it to Koaloha either. Next time.
Woke up at 3:30AM and finally got outta bed at 5:30AM. Went downstairs and had a cup Kona Coffee and Banana Bread on Kalakaua Avenue, watched all the tourists. Took off for work at 8:00AM. Ate lunch at Pearl Harbor Popeye’s. I think it’s so funny to be eating Popeye’s in Hawaii. Got back to the hotel at 6:15PM and met my cousin Christy, her husband Dan and their son Jaz for Sushi at Tokkuri Tei.
