This is a one time pass to use the bathroom at one of the malls Alex went to, it cost 10 Pesos!
Dog Day Afternoon
We spent this afternoon with the dogs… Princess & Freddie that is. Hard working dirty dogs need a good washing. Princess is self reliant while Fred is a bit more hands on.
Later we went to Iceberg’s for a light, light snack and desert.
This was followed by a dinner at the Rallos house, which by the way included desert.
Philippines Day 2
Jetlag still has a hold of me so I woke up at 4:30am today. After a little geek time on the PC, I started out on breakfast #1. Half an hour later when the rest of the household got up, I hit breakfast #2.
We rounded everyone up and went to the Makati Sports Club where we had lunch in 3 batches, Alex hit the gym, the nieces went swimming, I got a haircut, mom visited the beauty salon and we all watched a bowling match pitting Brian against Alex.
We later went to Mommy & Daddy’s house for dinner #1, then to Pinky’s for dinner #2.
I still have yet to take a single photo, so needless to say these photos are all from Sandy.
We arrived
We’ve been in the Philippines for 24 hrs and I haven’t taken a single photo. Although I did manage to get a 1 hour massage and purchase 3 suits (they fit better over here).
I should mention with all the Philippine hospitality, we’ve been eating 6 times a day. Will those suits fit?
More later.
Alex is here!
Last night Alex arrived from South Carolina to accompany us on our trip to the Philippines. We decided to cook something EZ… yeah Steak! Sorry forgot to photograph it.
Our flight day was spent taking Judy to the Burd Hotel and lunch at the India Palace.

It’s another Fridate
Sandy had to pick up some chocolates for our Philippine trip so I took the ferry in and met her at Godiva. Well we decided to turn it into a date and had numerous appetizers at Osha.
Compact Data
I’m getting ready for our Philippine trip. The last time we were there, Jim & I ran out of storage space and Jim had to purchase an external drive (thanks, Jim). This time I’m prepared with a 1.8″ Toshiba 100GB Hard Drive, which I’ll install in an external USB case.
It’s too hot to cook
I got on the ferry to San Francisco this evening and met Sandy for a date. We went to Fuzio at the Embarcadero for some mango sangria, pasta and chocolate coconut bread pudding.
